Tamara Icardo

Tamara Icardo (Valencia, 1995) is one of the most outstanding players in women's padel. Her career has impressed both fans and experts, with a rapid rise in the women's padel ranking. Although her professional career began several years ago, it was in 2021 when she experienced a real take-off by winning important World Padel Tour tournaments, such as the Estrella Damm Santander Open and the Málaga Open. With her aggressive playing style and powerful shots from the backhand position, Icardo has established herself as one of the most popular women's padel players.

However, it has not all been an easy road for Tamara Icardo. During the Malmö Padel Open, she suffered a hand injury that temporarily sidelined her from competition. After undergoing surgery, her quick recovery allowed her to return to the courts with renewed energy. She is currently ranked number 18 in the women's padel ranking, but she aspires to continue climbing positions and reach the top of the circuit.

Tamara Icardo's resilience has been key to her success. Despite the challenges, she has overcome obstacles with determination and a positive attitude. Her ability to constantly adapt and improve makes her a benchmark in women's padel.
